Getting Started with FreshCrate

How FreshCrate works

FreshCrate is a weekly meal-kit subscription. Each week you get a box with pre-portioned ingredients and step-by-step recipe cards for the meals you chose. You pick your plan size, set your preferences, and a box ships on your delivery day every week until you pause or cancel.

Setting up your first box

After signing up, choose a plan (2, 3, or 4 meals per week), choose your dietary track (Standard, Gluten-Free, Vegetarian or Dairy-Free), and pick your delivery day. You can hand-select your recipes or let FreshCrate auto-pick based on your preferences. Your first box ships on the next available delivery day after the weekly cutoff.

What's in a box

Each box contains chilled, pre-portioned ingredients packed with insulation and ice packs to stay fresh in transit, plus a recipe card for each meal. Most recipes take 25–40 minutes to cook. Ingredients stay fresh in the fridge for several days after delivery.

Managing everything from your account

Your Account area is where you change your plan, preferences, delivery day, and address, pause or cancel, and view orders and billing. Most common requests — pausing, switching plans, reporting a problem — can also be handled by asking support directly.
